The media campaign against Honduran teachers' organizations is local and international. The essence of propaganda is to privatize education and to impede the liberation of the peoples of Latin America.

The formal component is to introduce the teachers as the enemy of education. Justify the reduction of public expenditure and destroy the teachers' organizations.

Two international media celebrities have entered into this scene of the oligarchies' theatrical performance. Both based in Miami. One a singer and dancer and the other specializes in ridiculing the cultural values and heroes of Latin America.

Maria Conchita Alonzo's (Cuban Venezuelan) august presence in Honduras was to celebrate the birthday of the "hero" representative of the bloody military coup, to campaign against Cuba and Venezuela and justify repression against education workers and the National Popular Resistance Front.

Conchita was the rejection of the people when she said: "The truth is within me." In other words "I am the truth." Since this statement is false, consequently all that Conchita said about Cuba, Venezuela, and Honduras was based on a falsehood.

Andres Oppenheimer of Miami (Argentina), ideologue and proponent of financial capitalism. He arrogantly came to give recipes for education (to stigmatize teaching). He ridiculed the ideas of Bolivar, Morazan and recommended that we should forget history and to look forward (North) and being unsympathetic to the peoples of the South.

Why forget Morazan? Who are and have been strangling this central idea of his thought: "Education is the free spirit of the people"?

The media campaign against Honduran teachers' organizations is local and international. The essence of propaganda is to privatize education and to impede the liberation of the peoples of Latin America.

To control the education of a people is to attack freedom, to dominate it and oppress it. To strip it of its cultural values. Warp critical awareness and reflective educators. Deform the reflexive and critical conscience of the educators. Alienate the teachers so that they learn and teach the individualistic values of the violence of capitalism that impoverishes and sickens our people.

The World Bank and International Monetary Fund believe that education, health, information security and privacy are valuable commodities to be sold in methodological packages (a fraud) to exploited countries and that it is necessary to destroy the teachers' organizations to privatize education locally and internationally. Who are the ones responsible for Honduras spending more on weapons than on education? The oligarchy has more guns, bullets and private guards, than the quantity of bushels of corn, beans and liters of milk made available for school lunch.

The repressive apparatus has implemented the pedagogy of terror and torture it learned at the School of the Americas. Following the military coup occurred, 15 teachers have been murders and hundreds persecuted and traumatized by police and military brutality.

Total economic losses from the military coup have not yet been quantified. Just during the closure of the borders Hondurans were robbed of 3 billion dollars. Forty million dollars were withdrawn from the external educational cooperation immediately after the military coup.

These specious investments should instead be used in education: the mobilization of troops to repress the people, the costs of U.S. bases and military maneuvers, the privileges of the military caste and the number of police and security guards to look after the interests of senior officials, the invisible costs for media campaigns and network of informants.

The strategy of the oligarchy and of the military, mining and agro-energy complex is to privatize everything and own the rivers, coastlines, forests, water, air and across the country and convert the poor into uneducated human waste. It is to carry out this horrendous plan, intended to kill the teachers, to promote private education of future robots and slaves where the poor have no social space

The oligarchy distorts the facts, does not speak of multi-grade teacher, the abandonment of rural schools and poor neighborhoods nor the commodification of private education.

The media war against teachers has used all possible mechanisms of propaganda and instruments of violence.

The strategy has four pillars: first reduce the problem of education to the responsibility of the teacher. The second is that the increased cost of education focuses on teachers.

The third is to discredit public education with the objective of privatizing it and make it work in the ideological service of the oligarchy and financial capital.

The fourth: stigmatize the teacher, discredit him and justify the use of military force, the police, and media in order to destroy the teachers' movement.

We defend with courage and dignity the national struggle of the teachers articulated by the People's National Resistance Front. Its protest is just in fighting against the policies of privatization and against labor rights violations.

Educating for life and not educating to kill. Fewer weapons and more education!

¿Quiénes estrangulan el “alma libre de los pueblos”?

La campaña mediática contra las organizaciones magisteriales hondureñas es local e internacional. La esencia de la propaganda es privatizar la educación y obstaculizar la liberación de los pueblos de América Latina.

El componente formal es presentar al magisterio como enemigo de la educación. Justificar la reducción del gasto público y la destruir las organizaciones magisteriales.

Dos personajes de la farándula mediática internacional han entrado en esta escena del performance teatral oligárquico. Ambos radicados en Miami. Una cantante y bailarina y el otro especializado en ridiculizar los valores culturales y los próceres de América Latina

María Conchita Alonzo (cubana venezolana) su presencia agosteña en Honduras fue para festejar el cumpleaños del “héroe” representativo del golpe militar sangriento, hacer campaña contra Cuba y Venezuela y justificar la represión contra los trabajadores de la educación y el Frente Nacional de Resistencia Popular.

Conchita tuvo el rechazo del pueblo cuando expresó: “La verdad está dentro de mí”. En otras palabras “La verdad soy yo”. En consecuencia al ser esta afirmación falsa; todo lo que dijo Conchita sobre Cuba, Venezuela, y Honduras se fundamentó en la falsedad.

Andrés Oppenheimer de Miami (argentino) ideólogo y defensor del capitalismo financiero. Soberbio vino a dar recetas sobre la educación (estigmatizar al magisterio). Ridiculizó las ideas de Morazán y Bolívar y recomendó que deberíamos olvidarnos de la historia y dirigir la mirada hacia adelante (El Norte) y ser insolidarios con los pueblos del SUR.

¿Porque olvidar a Morazán? ¿Quiénes son y han sido los que estrangulan aquella idea central de su pensamiento: “La educación es el alma libre de los pueblos”?

Controlar la educación de un pueblo es atentar contra la libertad, dominarlo y oprimirlo. Despojarlo de sus valores culturales. Deformar la conciencia crítica y reflexiva de los educadores. Alienar a los maestros y maestras para que aprendan y enseñen los valores individualistas de la violencia del capitalismo que empobrece y enferma nuestros pueblos.

El Banco Mundial y el Fondo Monetario Internacional están conscientes que la educación, salud, la información y seguridad privada son mercancías valiosas que se le venden en paquetes metodológicos (fraude) a los países explotados y que es necesario aniquilar las organizaciones magisteriales para privatizar la educación a nivel local e internacional. ¿Quiénes son responsables de que en Honduras se gaste más en armas que en educación? La oligarquía dispone de más armas, balas y guardias privados ; que la cantidad de quintales de maíz , frijoles y litros de leche disponibles para la merienda escolar

El aparato represivo ha puesto en práctica la pedagogía del terror y la tortura que aprendió en la Escuela de las Américas. Después del golpe militar se han producido, con respecto al magisterio 15 asesinatos y centenares de perseguidos y traumatizados por la brutalidad policial y militar.

Las pérdidas económicas totales por el golpe castrense todavía no han sido cuantificadas. Solo durante el cierre de las fronteras se dejaron de recibir 3000 millones de dólares. Cuarenta millones de dólares fueron retirados de la cooperación externa educativa inmediatamente después del Golpe Militar.

Constituyen inversiones onerosas que deberían ser empleadas en la educación : la movilización de tropas para reprimir al pueblo; los gastos en las bases y maniobras militares estadounidenses; los privilegios de la casta militar y policial y la cantidad de guardias de seguridad para cuidar los intereses de los altos funcionarios; los gastos invisibles en las campañas mediáticas y las estructuras del orejismo.

La estrategia de la oligarquía golpista y del complejo militar, minero agroindustrial y energético es privatizarlo todo y ser dueños de los ríos, costas marítimas, bosques, agua, aire y de todo el país y convertir a los pobres en desechos humanos sin educación.

Para realizar este horrendo plan, pretenden aniquilar el magisterio, promover la educación privada de los futuros robots y esclavos donde los pobres no tienen espacio social

La oligarquía deforma los hechos no habla del profesor multigrado, del abandono de las escuelas campesinas y de los barrios pobres ni de la mercantilización de la educación privada.

La guerra mediática contra los maestros y maestras ha utilizado todos los mecanismos posibles de la propaganda y los instrumentos de la violencia.

La estrategia ha tenido cuatro ejes: el primero reducir el problema educativo a la responsabilidad del magisterio. El segundo es que el mayor gasto en la educación se centra en el profesorado.

El tercero descalificar la educación pública con el objeto de privatizarla y ponerla al servicio ideológico de la oligarquía y el capital financiero.

El cuarto estigmatizar al magisterio, desacreditarlo y justificar el uso de la fuerza militar, policial, mediática con el fin de aniquilar el movimiento magisterial.

Educar para vivir y no educar para matar. ¡Menos armas y más educación!
