Update on "mass grave" situation

This from a friend: It turns out it's not a mass grave they've discovered. A newspaper report came out that there were 100 unclaimed cadavers at the San Pedro Sula morgue, and by orders of the prosecutor's office, the medical legal department buried them in three separate common graves. Most were violent death. According to Bertha Oliva, this is normal, but what is not normal is the high number, 100, apparently from last 6 months. Oliva says that 10 or 15 would have been a high number, but 100 is very high. The bodies were presumably from the San Pedro Sula area and the North Coast. It is likely that families have not claimed them either because they are afraid or because they are too poor.
