ALERT! Repression has increased in San Pedro Sula. There are thirty people arrested and gaoled in Choloma. A young girl NIÑA GEMA VALERIA ALIA MANZANARES is under detention in Las Bartolinas. People with broken bones and numerous injuries.

This morning comrade Ruy Diaz Diaz, member of the FNRP and a part of the elected assembly of this body, was abducted by the police and taken away to the Choloma Police Station, where he was brutally beaten by a police officer with the surname “Castro”.

Shortly afterward he was taken back to the place from where he had originally been abducted, and left there in a semi-conscious condition.

The comrade was detained with Giovanni Matute, who was also released.

We ask all to expose and strongly condemn yet another crime by the repressive forces of the cowardly regime of Porfirio Lobo Sosa, and bring it to the attention of all the governments of the world, the Organization of American States (OAS), UNASUR (United South American Nations), the SICA (Integrated Central American System) and Human Rights organizations.

We also demand the return of Mel Zelaya. Express your support here: pormzr@gmail.com
